THE ZEN OF
RADICAL ACCEPTANCE

In the practice of Mindfulness and Meditation we discover that we spend much of our lives suffering because we wish things to be different than they are. We constrict our lives with self-judgment, addictions, perfectionism, overwork, unwanted expectations, and this confounding need to always be “busy”. In this course we learn the practice of seeing things as they are and developing a trust in accepting reality.

From this place of radical acceptance, we find our way to change what we can and accept what we can’t. Engaging in wisdom and courage from a place of presence, groundedness, and understanding. Fully living life as it is, every single precious moment in awareness.

In this course we will experience mindful meditation and how it is the core practice of acceptance. We will discuss the premise that what we practice grows stronger and learn the steps of practicing what is right for growth and change.

A few more words about this course

Radical acceptance is about accepting life on life’s terms and not resisting what you cannot or choose not to change. Radical acceptance is about saying yes to life, just as it is. Imagine that you talk with an apartment manager about leasing an apartment in a popular complex that is completely full.
